Alternatively, collect urine in a clean, dry container and immerse the entire absorbent tip in the urine for 5–10 seconds , until the urine sample begins to move into the result window. Keep the absorbent tip pointing downward, replace the protective cap, and place the test device on a clean, dry, non-absorbent, flat surface with the result window facing upward. Wait for the colored line(s) to appear and read the result. A positive result may be read as soon as the test line appears. A negative result should be confirmed within 10 minutes .
