The Starkki hoodie is made of organic cotton French terry, and it has a straight, unisex fit. The hoodie features the Unikko pattern, a kangaroo pocket in the front, and ribbing at the sleeve ends and hemline. The Marimekko logo is embroidered in the middle of back. Our sweatshirts are sewn using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary slightly. Each item is unique. Marimekko’s famous pattern Unikko was born in 1964 in a time when the design house’s collections featured mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed an entire range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.
